Jenny is a fitness enthusiast! She developed her love for fitness when she was in the National Guard. Once she got out of the military she decided to follow her passion for helping people fall in love with fitness. She currently lives in Mattoon, Illinois and is married to Nathan and has two children, Reagan and Greyson. She loves teaching a variety of different group fitness classes to help everyone reach and attain their individual fitness goals.

I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Precision Nutrition Certificate Level 1, and I have a BN in Kinesiology.
Favorite Pose & Why:
Tree pose in half lotus is one of my favorite poses. I like that there are different ways to progress in this posture and ways to see how much your body is learning and adapting to each progression.
Favorite Way to De-Stress:
My favorite way to de-stress would be to workout or to go for a run on the treadmill. If I am not in the gym, I love being outdoors doing activities.
Favorite Essential Oils & Use:
I really enjoy the citrus essential oils sweet orange & lemon for their smell and energizing effects.
When I'm Not On My Mat or Teaching:
I enjoy getting strength training sessions in for myself when I’m not teaching. I love hanging out with my children and puppies at home outside or in the pool. I also enjoy watching reality TV shows or trash TV (when the kids are in bed!)
What yoga has done for me:
I wasn’t always one to do yoga or stretching in general, even though I preach this to my clients. But after finding hot yoga, I found a way to get a great stretch in while also getting a detoxing sweat on. I feel my mobility and flexibility getting better with every class!
